#ThePrimplifePlan is inspired by the desire to want to see girls from an under-resourced community, like me (Jasmine Jones), reach their full potential and overcome adversity. My commitment will allow these girls to see their full potential and overcome the statistics. This comic will also seek to put positive images in a forgotten community. I want the impact to allow these girls to always see a reflection of themselves going beyond to achieve greatness so they can replicate this in their daily lives as I know they can!
Our target customers include girls ages 8-12 and 10-14 from under resourced communities. The total addressable market is about 7.7 % of the US population. #ThePrimplifePlan is in the growth stage and steadily gaining meaningful traction and interest with prospective sponsors, customers, and partners. With the comic based curriculum and workshop series in mind there is a low-to-moderate degree of competition among after-school program providers in the United States.
IBISWorld estimates that there are about 2,500 organizations in the US that provide after-school programs. Competition among providers is primarily based on the price of the service, access to government funding, curriculum, hours and location. As the US population increases in size, so does the market for children’s book publishers and the demand for E-books. This is an advantage for a potential investor to #ThePrimplifePlan, as revenue from the new model children’s comic is easily generated from technology such as e-books and apps catered to our target market.
Expanding to apps, blogs, web series, apparel, comics, job opportunities, mentor-ship, and more just for the girls that want to #PRIMPLIFE!
